Gray Hard Limestone

Kimble’s signature state-approved gray hard limestone, quarried in Ohio and notably harder and more durable than many locally available materials. Available in sizes #2, #4, #8, #9, #57, #67, #304 and #411 (the #9 size is available on request).

Gray Hard Limestone #2

A large, clean crushed stone with no fines. Its size makes it ideal for building up very soft or muddy ground and for large drainage applications where smaller stone would wash away.

Washed Gray Limestone

The same hard gray limestone, washed to rinse away dust and fines for a cleaner, brighter appearance. A good fit wherever the stone is visible or where the freest possible drainage matters. Available in sizes #8, #9 and #57 (the #57 size is available on request).

White Limestone

A lighter-colored limestone from Western Ohio, chosen mainly for its bright, decorative appearance. It is softer and less durable than Kimble’s gray limestone, so it is best used decoratively rather than for heavy structural work. Available in sizes #8, #57 and #304.
