    Kimble Company is looking for an Administrative Assistant for our Twinsburg Recycling Facility. This position will interact with the Plant Manager, Maintenance department, Payroll and Line Supervisors. The ideal candidate will have previous data entry experience within a fast-paced environment, previous shop and/or payroll experience is a plus.

    This position will perform administrative and reporting related duties proficiently and accurately. The following is a list of some of the job duties required.

    • Provide support to Management
    • Perform Clerical tasks for the Recycling Plant
    • Manage and order inventory of office supplies
    • Record and maintain tracking of temporary workers
    • Input payroll hours and work with HR department to reconcile
    • Must be versatile and willing to help with things not defined by a job description

  • Computer Aided Design Technician

    CAD Technician

     

    Location: 3596 State Rt. 39 NW, Dover, Ohio

     

    Kimble Company is seeking a candidate with experience in civil design using ServCADD/Carlson (advanced mining module) or comparable software for mining, landfill and oil/gas well operations.  This position will require technical proficiency, organizational skills and communication in a team environment.

     

    The responsibilities of the CAD Technician include the following:

    • Utilize data obtained from surveys to provide civil as built plans and future design
    • Integrate survey data into existing AutoCAD design contours and GIS mapping systems
    • Work with surveyor to convert multiple types of survey data into surfaces that can be utilized for future civil design of undeveloped sites
    • Compute earthwork volumes using survey data to satisfy regulatory and design needs
    • Create phased civil construction planning drawings from existing as built drawings
    • Provide design surfaces to the managers of civil engineering operations in order to guide heavy equipment operations with survey equipment
    • Integrate all drawings into existing drawing and document management database; keep organized files for each project in accordance with company policies
    • Read and interpret legal land descriptions from deeds, leases, easements and other instruments to establish site plans and maps
    • Work both independently and as a member of a team in both field and office settings
    • Develop site plans from design surfaces to provide executive management overall progress reports and meet regulatory requirements

     

    Required Education & Experience:

    Required Skills:

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
    • Experience with civil design utilizing collected survey data
    • Ability to create, edit and provide contours and design surfaces for site development
    • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 or newer software

    Safety is a primary consideration in and around our shop or mine environment. The general labor position requires the physical strength and flexibility to complete assigned job tasks.

    Potential Job Duties:

    Putting up fencing of all types

    Pulling weeds and utilizing a weed eater

    Moving and sorting parts in the shop

    Sweeping shop, sidewalk and wash bay

    Picking up trash at the landfill or along the road

    Shovel mud out of wash bay

    General cleaning and maintaining work as assigned

    General farming duties

    Pulling up tarps

    Dig mud out of equipment tracks

    Pump set up

    Clean off scales

    Vac box- mixing solids into a liquid solution and then shoveling out the boxes after they are solidified

    Kimble Company oil and gas divisions looking for a GIS Specialist to round out our team at our Dover, OH location

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

    Design

    • Use of ESRI/ArcGIS to digitize polygons representing land assets
    • Design methodology to complete a project and produce a final product.

     GIS software

    • Utilize GIS techniques and software to provide a better understanding of certain variables in a given geographic location
    • Collect, manage, create and edit spatial data for incorporation into analysis, graphic displays, maps, and simulations
    • Working with general land data to integrate with ESRI/ArcGIS
    • Provide support mapping data and analysis upon request
    • Creating presentation quality maps and plot them using large format plotting equipment
    • Translate hard copy or computer generated data into GIS
    • Create maps from source data, such as land records, mapped legal descriptions, etc.
    • Conduct data gathering, conversion, analysis, manipulation and processing of spatial data using computerized GIS
    • Monitor mapping work and the updating of maps in order to ensure accuracy, the inclusion of new and/or changed information, and compliance with rules and regulations
    • Communicates with Engineering and Oil and Gas Department effectively to disseminate information.
    • Knowledge of mapping and GIS software applications including ESRI ArcGIS
    • Knowledge of GPS technology, data collection, and integration with GIS software

     

    Database management

    • Modify existing database through geoprocessing
    • Validate and review data in geodatabase

     

    Project management

    • Project management, ability to accept a project independently and in a team work environment
    • Able to adhere to departmental and company standards for data creation, management, and dissemination
    • Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines

     Research

    • Researching resources such as survey maps and legal descriptions to verify property lines to obtain information needed for mapping 
    • Ability to read and use zoning maps, quarter-section maps, plat maps, land use maps, single line maps, and aerial maps
    • Researching and confirming system data to assure accuracy, making all necessary edits and updates as needed

     Knowledge of:

                GIS principals and mapping programs including ESRI ArcGIS and GPS technology 

    Prior work experience:

    • Prior employment experience in the Oil & Gas industry
    • Minimum of two years' experience with GIS/CAD or other computer mapping technology 

     Language

    • Language skills include the ability to analyze and communicate effectively, including but not limited to the ability to compose concise procedures, memos and emails. Must be able to read and write fluently in English
    • Strong interpersonal skills

     Computer

    • Strong understanding of industry standard software including advanced computer skills are necessary (data entry/ability to learn and analyze new applications).

  • Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

    Kimble Company has EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES for disciplined, hardworking, and safe Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanics. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic for our Mining Division located in Dover, Ohio. Working under limited supervision, our diesel mechanics troubleshoot and identify maintenance repairs.

    Our diesel mechanics perform preventative maintenance, run inspections, diagnostics tests, and repair a variety of vehicles and equipment with a focus on our large mining equipment.

    Minimum qualifications of this position:

    • Proficient knowledge of large mining equipment such as Caterpillar, Hitachi, and Komatsu. *Must have experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, and fuel and brake lines.
    • Experience with engine repair on large equipment, both in the field and in the shop.
    • Troubleshooting skills—must be able to look at mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems as well as identify problems and think out of the box for solutions.

    • Ensure maximum productivity and improvement goals are met where needed.
    • Interact with employees to ensure efficiencies on the line and in the transfer station.
    • Assist the maintenance supervisor with planning of maintenance in the plant, including repair and installation of all electronic, electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
    • Maintain listing of repairs for all equipment requiring service.
    • Maintain equipment, minimizing downtime and assuring safe operating condition for the waste disposal and recycling business units.
    • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective repair. Perform duties of other shop personnel as required.

This individual must be able to climb up stairs and ladders up to 15 ft. on and into a truck cab, precisely use tools with a steady hand, and possess strong hand-eye coordination.

    Kimble Company is looking for an experienced Mining Engineer. The Mining Engineer is responsible for directing engineering activities in mining, construction projects and other areas as needed. This person will provide reserve evaluations, cut and fill direction and project expansion studies, provide short and long range mine plans, mine design and equipment utilization.

    Duties

    • Develop and maintain 3D Geologic Models of assigned permits using planning software
    • Perform mine surveying
    • Work with operations personnel in the development of mine engineering plans
    • Establish working budgets and accounting for each project
    • Analyze reports, drawings, blueprints, tests & related documentation to plan and design projects
    • Development of mine plans and refinement of mining methods and operating procedures
    • Revise mine plans as needed from reviews or other site conditions that arise
    • Evaluate new sites being considered for acquisition or development
    • Monitor cut and fill rates on-going with operations
    • Perform quality and quantity control and reporting for material production
    • Develop detailed mine plans for existing operations and potential reserve areas
    • Develop and design drainage control plans and mine waste disposal areas
    • Prepare, organize and direct detailed project engineering and evaluation\
    • Define proper mining methods, equipment, mine site facilities, operating costs and manpower
    • Determine the most appropriate use of mining methodologies for best mine performance
    • Maintain knowledge of regulations and procedures related to water discharges
    • Maintain knowledge of regulations and procedures pertinent to mine planning and permitting
    • Provide engineering support for coal preparation plant
    • Train and develop engineering personnel for current and future activities
    • Will provide direction to surveyors and AutoCAD professionals
    • Interface with regulatory personnel as required

    Requirements

    • B.S. Degree in Mining Eng. is preferred. Will consider Civil Engineers with five+ years of Mining exp.
    • 5 or more years of increasing responsibility plus direct supervision preferred
    • New graduates with Co-Op or internship experience will be considered
    • Registered Professional Engineer or have the ability to obtain is preferred
    • Experience working with govt. entities to include MSHA, EPA, OSHA and other applicable agencies
    • Knowledge and experience in permitting
    • Knowledge of State and Federal mining regulations
    • Knowledge of safety and health hazards associated with the mining of coal
    • Maintain high safety standards for self and others
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate with all mgmt. and co-workers
    • Ability to read and understand mine plans

  • A Level Mechanic- Dover

    Kimble Recycling and Disposal, Inc. is looking for several A level truck mechanics at our  Dover shop. The pay structure is based on experience but is consistent with other A level mechanic positions. We are eastern Ohio's largest independently owned collection and disposal Company.     This position would be considered an experienced mechanic and could serve as a lead mechanic or supervisor for shift if needed. Primarily work on a variety of large repairs for vehicles and equipment focusing on our Fleet of Refuse Trucks. Must have extensive knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

    • Safety is a primary consideration and all rules and regulations must be followed at all times.
    • All other duties as assigned by management.
    • Performs repairs and assigned primarily to major repairs.
    • Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.
    • Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
    • Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
    • Performs all work within Standard Repair Times and if there are deviations to the times report to shift supervisor.
    • Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns if mechanic is designated as a field mechanic.
    • Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
    • Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair time.
    • Considered an advanced mechanic and will help other mechanics in the completion of major work projects.
    • Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Daily Maintenance Reports.
    • Sometimes responsible for assigning work projects to junior mechanics as previously delegated this responsibility by management.
    • May be responsible for supervising junior level mechanics and writing their reviews.
    • Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
    • Must be proficient in all levels B, C& D mechanic classifications.

This position will interact with the Purchasing Manager and other staff in our parts room. The ideal candidate will have previous purchasing and inventory experience in a shop environment.

    This position will perform storeroom and inventory related duties proficiently and accurately. 

    • Receive, store, pull & deliver parts to shop mechanics and drivers.
    • Document and count material, monitor and replenish inventory.

    This Route Supervisor manages the daily waste collection routes and driver performance ensuring safe, timely and cost effective delivery of services in accordance with Kimble practices and procedures and applicable regulations.     Company Summary - RHDK Oil and Gas, a division of the Kimble Companies, is based in Dover, Ohio. RHDK operates over 600 oil and gas wells in Eastern Ohio and is directly involved in horizontal drilling.

  • Derrick Hand

    RDHK Oil and Gas, a division of Kimble Company, is looking for a Derrick Hand for our Dover, Ohio location. This is an entry level field position.

    RHDK Oil and Gas is based in Dover, Ohio. RHDK operates over 600 oil and gas wells in Eastern Ohio and is directly involved in horizontal drilling.

    This position will be assisting an operator in all aspects of service rig operation. This is an outdoor position and will not be working in a shop.

    *PLEASE NOTE: APPLICANTS MUST LIVE WITHIN A 75-MILE RADIUS OF DOVER, OHIO.

    Position responsibilities:

    • Routine maintenance on the rig
    • Assisting in rigging up, moving, rigging down
    • Repairing, plumbing and maintaining existing wells
    • Tripping pipes in and out of the wells

    Minimum requirements:

    • Must be physically fit and able to climb and work at heights
    • Ability to work outside in all types of weather
    • Ability to lift in excess of 75 pounds
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Ability to pass our background check and drug screen
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under our company policy

  • Roustabout Line Locator

    RDHK Oil and Gas, a division of Kimble Company, is looking for a Roustabout Line Locator for our Dover, Ohio location. Applicants must possess a Class A or B CDl with a minimum of two years’ CDL driving experience and must be over the age of 21.
