    The Aggregate & Construction Material Sales Representative will utilize a seller/performer sales approach offered at Kimble Companies.  This individual will be prospecting and developing new opportunities in an effort to grow the business unit. 

     

    Qualifications

    1.    Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited).

    2.    Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience with aggregate and construction sales

    3.    Valid driver’s license

    4.    Work a minimum 40-hour week

     

    Duties and Responsibilities 

    1.    Effectively maintains the existing customer base by building effective long-term relationships and customer loyalty.

    2.    Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of the Company’s available services, lines of business, pricing structures, and offers additional services as appropriate to existing customers. 

    3.    Understand the market trends and develop competitive pricing strategies.

    4.    Cold call to enhance new customer base.

    5.    Be a champion of a dedicated safety culture. 

    6.    Understand industry and promote the company products

    7.    Negotiate and close sales effectively.

    8.    Work closely with customer service to ensure accurate invoicing.

    9.    Meet with Manager weekly to strategize on sales goals.

  • Heavy Equipment Operator- Night & Weekends

    Kimble Company has excellent opportunities for disciplined, hardworking, and safe Heavy Equipment Operators. We are currently seeking highly skilled heavy equipment operators who are proficient with large earth-moving equipment to work nights and weekends in our Dover, Ohio location. Previous Mining/Reclamation or Landfill experience is a plus.

    If you are exceptionally skilled at operating a Dozer or Excavator/Track Hoe, we would be interested in speaking with you!

    Job Duties:
    • Ability to operate dozer, front end loader, excavator, articulated trucks, end dumps, grader, and scraper as needed
    • Operate mining equipment as needed
    • Perform pre/post-trip inspections on all equipment
    • Ability to trouble shoot minor repairs if needed
    • Ability to perform manual labor including picking up trash, setting water pumps, and dragging hose

  • Loader Operator/General Labor- Canton

    Our Canton, OH location is looking for a loader operator/general labor to work in our transfer station.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

    The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge of heavy-equipment operating principles and the ability to drive and operate the equipment under varying working conditions.

    • Safety is a primary concern and is a priority to our loader operators and we stress this at all times in the transfer station.
    • Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations.
    • Ability to perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion and potential exposure to adverse weather conditions.
    • Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
    • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
    • Forklift certified or demonstrate proficiency with a forklift.
    • Must have the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
    • The employee must be able to periodically lift and move up to 50 pounds.
    • Hours are 6 am- 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, Saturday hours 4 am - noon. You would work 2 on and one off in a rotating schedule.

    Physical Work Activities and Exposure

    Operators must have good eyesight and better than average coordination in order to operate both hand and foot levers simultaneously. They must have good judgment in order to perform complicated tasks and must be able to work closely with other crafts without constant supervision. Skilled operators are constantly alert and observant of their surroundings.

    Pre-Requisite Education and Experience:

    High School Diploma or GED

    Must have verifiable loader experience either from previous jobs or certificates from school.

  • Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

    Kimble Company has EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES for disciplined, hardworking, and safe Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanics. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic for our Mining Division located in Dover, Ohio. Working under limited supervision, our diesel mechanics troubleshoot and identify maintenance repairs.

    Our diesel mechanics perform preventative maintenance, run inspections, diagnostics tests, and repair a variety of vehicles and equipment with a focus on our large mining equipment.

    Minimum qualifications of this position:

    • Proficient knowledge of large mining equipment such as Caterpillar, Hitachi, and Komatsu. *Must have experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, and fuel and brake lines.
    • Experience with engine repair on large equipment, both in the field and in the shop.
    • Troubleshooting skills—must be able to look at mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems as well as identify problems and think out of the box for solutions.

    Position Summary: Responsible for effectively and efficiently sorting recyclable materials on a fast paced conveyor line ensuring that outbound recyclables meet or exceed the expected quality standards of the customer.

    Role Priorities:

    Ÿ Inspect materials and sort items into various media
    Ÿ Remove unacceptable items from the line

    Ÿ Clean machinery and area during and after shifts

    Kimble Companies is growing, and we are in need of a second shift Maintenance Supervisor for our Twinsburg Recycling Facility. We are looking for an energetic, upbeat, and enthusiastic individual who has previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment with previous management experience. This person supervises the daily maintenance activities of the recycling center while ensuring operating procedures and excellent work standards are being met.

    Job Duties:

    • Ensure maximum productivity and establish productivity improvement goals are met where needed.
    • Interact with employees and lead line sorter to ensure efficiencies on the line and in the transfer station.
    • Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the maintenance of the plant including repair and installation of all electronic, electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
    • Maintain listing of repairs for all equipment requiring service.
    • Maintain equipment, minimizing downtime and assuring safe operating condition for the waste disposal and recycling business units.
    • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implements effective repair. Perform duties of other shop personnel as required.
    • Oversee parts usage and replacement. Monitor status of parts orders for repairs and special projects.
    • Demonstrate leadership that inspires cooperation and a team effort in the performance of responsibilities.
    • Exhibit strong administrative ability to plan, direct, and follow through on programs to repair and maintain all equipment.
    • Proactively manage and complete all projects while monitoring employee performance and behavior.

    The maintenance supervisor must be mechanically inclined and have a knowledge of OSHA as well as other related state and federal regulations. This person should have strong written and oral communication skills with strong motivation and leadership skills.

    Prior work experience:

    • Previous Maintenance Shop experience and knowledge of what is required to run one efficiently and safely
    • Previous recycling experience or related industry work a plus
    • Previous production manufacturing experience a plus
    • Previous supervisory experience and 5+ years in maintenance
    • Mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and powered industrial vehicle work
    • Proficiency in Welding & Fabricating preferred
    • OSHA and DOT experience preferred

    Kimble Company is looking for a Parts Person for our Dover location. This position will interact with the Purchasing Manager and other staff in our parts room. The ideal candidate will have previous purchasing and inventory experience in a shop environment.

    This position will perform storeroom and inventory related duties proficiently and accurately. 

    • Receive, store, pull & deliver parts to shop mechanics and drivers.
    • Document and count material, monitor and replenish inventory.
    • Issue purchase orders and enter data into computer system.
    • Control material and equipment spare parts.
    • Package & ship return parts
    • Maintain orderly parts storage areas, clean floors, shelving, bins, aisle ways, docks and work areas
    • Issue shop tools; assemble, modify and label storage racks, bins and cabinets.
    • Assemble hoses, and comply with office procedures and routines.
    • Parts Counter Clerk has some latitude for independent action within established guidelines, but is supervised by designated management personnel.

    Night Operations Supervisor

    Kimble Recycling and Disposal, Inc. is a regional leading provider of recycling and solid waste management service. We service customers in residential, commercial and industrial markets throughout eastern Ohio. We are looking for a Night Operations Supervisor for our Dover location.

    This Operations Supervisor manages the daily trucking and roll off routes and driver performance ensuring safe, timely and cost effective delivery of services in accordance with Kimble practices and procedures and applicable regulations. This position understands Kimble Core Values and applies principles of Positive Leadership in supervision of drivers and helpers.

    Directly responsible for the supervision of drivers and performance of daily operations. Greet drivers upon their arrival to the yard, perform tailgate and safety meetings. Conduct pre/post trip inspection audits, truck inspections, route observations, route efficiency analysis, interviews potential new hires, and plan routes and address special needs for the day. Communicate daily with the drivers making them part of the Kimble team.

    • Knowledge of DOT regulations and daily tracking including verifying logs, safety checks and roadside inspections.
    • Will be responsible for managing assigned employees including discipline, counseling and conducting reviews
    • Managing budgets and daily production

  • A-Level Mechanic - Dover

    Kimble Recycling and Disposal, Inc. is looking for several A-level truck mechanics for our Dover shop. The pay structure is based on experience, but it is consistent with other A-level mechanic positions. Kimble offers 10 days’ paid vacation time, along with the ability to earn up to 6 additional paid time off (PTO) days each year for coming to work and performing in a safe manner.  

     

    This position requires an experienced mechanic who could serve as a lead mechanic or supervisor for shift if needed.  You would primarily work on a variety of large repairs for vehicles and equipment, focusing on our Fleet of Refuse Trucks. Must have extensive knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

     

    • Advanced knowledge of Air Brakes
    • Advanced knowledge of Steering and Suspension
    • Advanced knowledge of Hydraulic Systems
    • Advanced knowledge of Drive Train Components
    • Advanced knowledge of Electrical Systems
    • Prefer ASE certifications and welding skills
    • Works with limited supervision utilizing written and established procedures.
    • Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
    • Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
    • Performs all work within Standard Repair Times and if there are deviations to the times report to shift supervisor.
    • Works under limited supervision and selects from written instructions and established procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

    Kimble Recycling & Disposal, Inc. is seeking a full-time Call Center Customer Service Representative in our Dover, Ohio office. This is an incredibly fast-paced, customer-focused environment, taking over 100 calls per representative daily. Duties include face-to-face customer assistance, answering inbound phone calls to quote, establishing new accounts, processing payments, and completing maintenance on existing customer accounts by providing support in both locations throughout the week.  Must be well organized, detail oriented, and proficient with MS Office.  Must possess excellent communication skills and positive customer focused mindset. Previous call center experience of 1-3 years required.  Previous call center experience must be within last six months.

    Kimble Recycling and Disposal, Inc. is searching for a talented Fabricator/Welder who is disciplined, hardworking, and safe. We are eastern Ohio's largest independently owned collection and disposal Company. We currently have an opening in our Dover shop for an individual who is an above average candidate in the field of fabricating and welding. Kimble offers 10 days’ paid vacation time, along with the ability to earn up to 6 additional paid time off (PTO) days each year for coming to work and performing in a safe manner.


    We are seeking a skilled fabricator to work independently fabricating and welding a variety of items associated with commercial trucks, industrial compactors and containers. This individual will be responsible for fabricating the necessary enclosures and loading devices during new compactor installations.

    For consideration, this applicant must possess outstanding fabricating and welding skills.


    Applicants possessing the following skills will be given priority consideration:

    • High voltage electricity
    • Hydraulic operations
    • Class 8 truck maintenance
    • Facility Maintenance


    Must be able to supply your own set of basic hand tools set.

  • Roustabout or General Laborer

     

    RHDK Oil and Gas, a division of Kimble Company, is looking for a Roustabout or General Laborer for our Dover, Ohio location. This is an entry level field position.

    Company Summary - RHDK Oil and Gas, a division of the Kimble Companies, is based in Dover, Ohio. RHDK operates over 600 oil and gas wells in Eastern Ohio and is directly involved in horizontal drilling.

    The roustabout will be assisting an operator in all aspects of our oil and gas field operations. This is an outdoor position and will not be working in a shop.

    *PLEASE NOTE: APPLICANTS MUST LIVE WITHIN A 75-MILE RADIUS OF DOVER, OHIO.

    Position responsibilities:

    • Routine maintenance all things and around the oil field
    • Moving construction and piping materials around
    • Maintain mechanical equipment
    • Manual labor

    Minimum requirements:

    • Must be physically fit and able to climb and work at heights
    • Ability to work outside in all types of weather
    • Ability to lift in excess of 75 pounds
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Ability to pass our background check and drug screen
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under our company policy
