    Duties and Responsibilities

    Projects:

    Data Collection:

    Training:

    • Train local teams and apply process improvement tools, including value stream mapping, spaghetti mapping, visual management, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5s Workplace organizations.
    • Communicate with employees, suppliers, and customers as needed
    • Administrate and create all SOP documents while also providing a continuous review and audit of effectiveness.

    Kimble Company is looking for an Administrative Assistant for our Twinsburg Recycling Facility. This position will interact with the Plant Manager, Maintenance department, Payroll and Line Supervisors. The ideal candidate will have previous data entry experience within a fast-paced environment, previous shop and/or payroll experience is a plus.

    This position will perform administrative and reporting related duties proficiently and accurately. The following is a list of some of the job duties required.

    • Provide support to Management

  • Computer Aided Design Technician

    CAD Technician

     

    Location: 3596 State Rt. 39 NW, Dover, Ohio

     

    Kimble Company is seeking a candidate with experience in civil design using ServCADD/Carlson (advanced mining module) or comparable software for mining, landfill and oil/gas well operations.  This position will require technical proficiency, organizational skills and communication in a team environment.

     

    The responsibilities of the CAD Technician include the following:

    • Utilize data obtained from surveys to provide civil as built plans and future design
    • Integrate survey data into existing AutoCAD design contours and GIS mapping systems
    • Work with surveyor to convert multiple types of survey data into surfaces that can be utilized for future civil design of undeveloped sites
    • Compute earthwork volumes using survey data to satisfy regulatory and design needs
    • Create phased civil construction planning drawings from existing as built drawings
    • Provide design surfaces to the managers of civil engineering operations in order to guide heavy equipment operations with survey equipment
    • Integrate all drawings into existing drawing and document management database; keep organized files for each project in accordance with company policies
    • Read and interpret legal land descriptions from deeds, leases, easements and other instruments to establish site plans and maps
    • Work both independently and as a member of a team in both field and office settings
    • Develop site plans from design surfaces to provide executive management overall progress reports and meet regulatory requirements

  • Environmental Technician

     

    Kimble Company is seeking an Environmental Technician to perform skilled technical and manual labor in a variety of duties associated with monitoring and maintaining landfill and mining operations. Duties may include: field exploration, sample collection and field analysis (air, soil, groundwater, surface water, and building materials), file review and documentation (local and state), lab data reduction and preparation of summary tables, filing, letter and report preparation.

    The Environmental Technician may perform and check calculations, perform certain field investigations or documentation tasks, perform data entry, and assist with project organization and documentation. This individual will be dealing with governmental compliance regulations and paperwork.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Monitor methane/oxygen levels; monitor gas wells, collect samples, and ensure proper operation of wells and probes; prepare accurate reports, correspondence, and logs. 
    • Prepare or complete various forms, reports, correspondence, air monitoring reports, storm water reports, gas monitoring reports, groundwater reports, and other documents.
    • Write field reports, internal correspondence, and sections of formal reports and proposals.
    • Inspect operations of landfill gas system, leachate collection system, pump stations, and related systems; conduct storm water compliance inspections; collect air monitoring data, record operating data pertaining to systems and pump stations; conduct random inspections of waste trucks or other vehicles bringing materials into the landfill to identify potentially hazardous materials, maintain records of inspection activities and findings.
    • Assist with reporting and testing.
    • Maintain the ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team, being able to multi task
    • Attention to detail is paramount.
    • Demonstrate the ability to continually strive for system and process improvements.
    • Exhibit good oral and written communication skills.
    •  Possess advanced computer skills (data entry/ability to learn and analyze new applications)
    • Collect storm water samples, groundwater samples, and landfill gas samples. Knowledge of groundwater and gas well field monitoring a plus.

    This position requires lifting, stooping, climbing, the use of general hand tools, and specialized equipment. Must be proficient in computer operations/programs (Auto CAD, Word, Excel) and be able to enter, modify, and retrieve/analyze data accurately, including composing spreadsheets and project/construction schedules.

    *Environmental Background preferred with Associate Degree or relevant professional experience. Previous laboratory experience is helpful.

  • Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

    Kimble Company has EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITIES for disciplined, hardworking, and safe Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanics. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic for our Mining Division located in Dover, Ohio. Working under limited supervision, our diesel mechanics troubleshoot and identify maintenance repairs.

    Our diesel mechanics perform preventative maintenance, run inspections, diagnostics tests, and repair a variety of vehicles and equipment with a focus on our large mining equipment.

    Minimum qualifications of this position:

    • Proficient knowledge of large mining equipment such as Caterpillar, Hitachi, and Komatsu. *Must have experience with electrical systems, hydraulics, and fuel and brake lines.
    • Experience with engine repair on large equipment, both in the field and in the shop.
    • Troubleshooting skills—must be able to look at mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems as well as identify problems and think out of the box for solutions.

This person supervises the daily maintenance activities of the recycling center while ensuring operating procedures and excellent work standards are being met.

    • Ensure maximum productivity and establish productivity improvement goals are met where needed.
    • Interact with employees and lead line sorter to ensure efficiencies on the line and in the transfer station.
    • Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the maintenance of the plant including repair and installation of all electronic, electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.

  • Mining Engineer

    Kimble Company is looking for an experienced Mining Engineer. The Mining Engineer is responsible for directing engineering activities in mining, construction projects and other areas as needed. This person will provide reserve evaluations, cut and fill direction and project expansion studies, provide short and long range mine plans, mine design and equipment utilization.

    Duties

    • Develop and maintain 3D Geologic Models of assigned permits using planning software
    • Perform mine surveying
    • Work with operations personnel in the development of mine engineering plans
    • Establish working budgets and accounting for each project
    • Analyze reports, drawings, blueprints, tests & related documentation to plan and design projects
    • Development of mine plans and refinement of mining methods and operating procedures
    • Revise mine plans as needed from reviews or other site conditions that arise
    • Evaluate new sites being considered for acquisition or development

    Requirements

    • B.S. Degree in Mining Eng. is preferred. Will consider Civil Engineers with five+ years of Mining exp.
    • 5 or more years of increasing responsibility plus direct supervision preferred
    • New graduates with Co-Op or internship experience will be considered
    • Registered Professional Engineer or have the ability to obtain is preferred
    • Experience working with govt. entities to include MSHA, EPA, OSHA and other applicable agencies
    • Knowledge and experience in permitting

    Kimble Company is looking for a Parts Person for our Dover location. This position will interact with the Purchasing Manager and other staff in our parts room. The ideal candidate will have previous purchasing and inventory experience in a shop environment.

    This position will perform storeroom and inventory related duties proficiently and accurately. 

    • Receive, store, pull & deliver parts to shop mechanics and drivers.
    • Document and count material, monitor and replenish inventory.
    • Issue purchase orders and enter data into computer system.
    • Control material and equipment spare parts.
    • Package & ship return parts
    • Maintain orderly parts storage areas, clean floors, shelving, bins, aisle ways, docks and work areas

  • Fleet Maintenance Director

     

    Kimble Recycling and Disposal, Inc. of Ohio is seeking a qualified Fleet Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance departments within the company. Previous experience in fleet management experience required. The director oversees the company’s fleet equipment, heavy equipment and recycling maintenance programs, site maintenance managers and their staff, all site inventory, and training.

    Maintenance

    • Oversee operations of all maintenance Shops
    • Supervise shop managers and their staff indirectly
    • Engage in quality control, including spot-checking repairs to ensure they are performed properly and in a timely manner
    • Manage preventative maintenance program to be kept up to date and delegate responsibilities to shop managers accordingly
    • Direct fleet management software and hardware systems – repairs, updates, and upgrades.

    • Coordinate with the Shop Managers to ensure the status of the fleet, to develop new policies and procedures, to develop the yearly budget.

  • A-Level Mechanic - Dover

    Kimble Recycling and Disposal, Inc. is looking for an A-level truck mechanic to work second shift in our Dover shop. The pay structure is based on experience, but it is consistent with other A-level mechanic positions. We offer a safety bonus paid quarterly for all of Kimble Recycling Disposal, Inc. mechanics for meeting Safety, OSHA, and DOT Requirements.     Kimble Recycling & Disposal, Inc. is seeking a full-time Call Center Customer Service Representative in our Dover, Ohio office. This is an incredibly fast-paced, customer-focused environment, taking over 100 calls per representative daily. Duties include face-to-face customer assistance, answering inbound phone calls to quote, establishing new accounts, processing payments, and completing maintenance on existing customer accounts by providing support in both locations throughout the week.  Must be well organized, detail oriented, and proficient with MS Office.  Must possess excellent communication skills and positive customer focused mindset. Previous call center experience of 1-3 years required.  Previous call center experience must be within last six months.
