Kimble has a 63-year history in waste collection and the disposal business, with a strong operational record of accomplishment and growth of its individual entities, most notably Kimble in Northeast Ohio and Ace Disposal in Southeast Ohio.  Aggressive growth in new Ohio markets, recent acquisitions and collective investments in new facilities and technology have compelled Kimble family ownership/management to re-align these entities under the KIMBLE name in order to enhance communication, build brand awareness and compete in new markets.

Kimble President, Keith Kimble, stated, “We have a long history of operating successful individual entities in a number of markets. Kimble and Ace Disposal are two great examples.  Through the efforts of many fine employees, these firms have provided great service and attention to our customers in every community we serve. They have been an important part of our success and have strengthened the Kimble family of companies.  Yet, as we continue to grow through expansion in new markets and through acquisition, we believe our customers and our business will be best served under one well-recognized brand name-Kimble. This unified brand strategy will enable us to share a common focus on superior customer service while maintaining our ongoing commitment to the environment.”

The new logo presents the Kimble name in a large, readable and memorable fashion-helping to build brand recognition.  The rings, embedded in the design, represent the synergy and interactivity of the Kimble businesses and core competencies including recycling-and how these attributes, building one upon another, form a greater whole.  The color green represents the guiding Kimble principles of efficiently and effectively managing natural resources, while preserving and protecting the environment. The tagline: Energy, Materials, Recycling and Disposal Done Right exemplifies the focus on safety, service performance and environmental dedication by each Kimble associate.

Many of Kimble’s waste collection and recycling trucks will be branded with the new logo immediately.  The remainder of vehicles, operating under previous brands, will be converted over the next few months.

For the past 63 years, the family-owned Kimble Companies of Dover, Ohio have grown from a modest mining and landfill operation into a diverse, yet integrated, organization focused on energy and resource management.  Kimble today employs more than 450 Ohioans providing a range of environmentally responsible products and services related to mineral production and sales including crushed aggregates, coal, clay and limestone; oil and gas; post-consumer and industrial recycling and non-hazardous waste collection; and disposal.
