Reducing Emissions with Clean Fleet Technology
Most of our Kimble Recycling & Disposal truck fleet is powered by clean-burning compressed natural gas (CNG), which significantly reduces emissions. Compared to diesel, CNG trucks operate more quietly and produce lower carbon emissions. Replacing one diesel truck with a CNG truck is the CO₂ equivalent of removing 324 cars from the road.
To power our fleet, Kimble operates three CNG fueling stations located in Stark, Summit, and Tuscarawas counties. Our investment in clean energy solutions helps reduce dependency on foreign oil by utilizing Ohio’s natural gas resources.

Producing Renewable Energy from Organic Waste
Looking toward the future, we are taking substantial steps to enhance sustainability and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. At the Kimble Company landfill, we’ve installed methane capture systems and a renewable natural gas (RNG) plant to collect biogas—a clean energy source generated from the decomposition of organic waste.
